New "HP" Series Twin Screw Compounding Extruders
The LEISTRITZ "HP" series represents a new generation of twin screw extruders that enables screw rpm's of up to 1200 with a 30% increase in transmitted torque via modified splined shafts. Higher screw speeds and torques translates into dramatically increased throughputs for many products. Typical applications for the "HP" series include the production of masterbatch, filled and reinforced engineering resins. Actual test data that compares a standard ZSE-50 mm model to a "HP" version is represented below.
A ZSE-50 "HP" model has been installed in the LEISTRITZ NJ process laboratory.
