1905 The company "Maschinenfabrik Paul Leistritz" is founded in Nuremberg/Germany. Production of blades for steam turbines is started.

1924 Screw pumps, a new development at the time, are added to the manufacturing programme
1925 Product range extended to manufacturing of mufflers for motorcycles, automobiles and stationary engines.
1937 The screw pump is enhanced and can now knead and mix tough materials. Extruders for plastics processing are later developed as a result.
1960 Acquisition of a plant in Furth-Stadeln/Germany and expansion of the production capacity.
1965 LEISTRITZ supplies hydraulic systems for elevator construction. They are produced in Bochum/Germany.
1973 The AMERICAN LEISTRITZ CORPORATION is founded to organize sales and service in the USA.
1975 Construction of the Pleystein plant. It undertakes production of machine tools, tools, mufflers and pipe components.
1986 LEISTRITZ MASCHINENFABRIK GMBH becomes a public limited company.
2001 LEISTRITZ GROUP is founded. Four independent subsidiaries are formed: LEISTRITZ TURBOMASCHINEN TECHNIK GMBH, LEISTRITZ PUMPEN GMBH, LEISTRITZ EXTRUSIONSTECHNIK GMBH, LEISTRITZ PRODUKTIONSTECHNIK GMBH
2005 The LEISTRITZ AG in Nuremberg/Germany acquires the ThyssenKrupp Turbinenkomponenten GmbH in Remscheid.

The name of the new company: LEISTRITZ TURBINENKOMPONENTEN REMSCHEID GMBH.

2011 The market presence in China is strengthened by the foundation of LEISTRITZ MACHINERY (TAICANG) CO. LTD..
2012 The LEISTRITZ TURBINENKOMPONENTEN REMSCHEID GmbH enlarges production capacity in South East Asia and opens a new plant in Thailand: LEISTRITZ (THAILAND) LTD.
2013 The LEISTRITZ TURBINENKOMPONENTEN REMSCHEID GMBH is renamed to LEISTRITZ TURBINENTECHNIK GMBH and is head of the business unit turbine components. Moreover, the three further business units are: Pumps, Extrusion Technology and Production Technology.
2014 The US subsidiaries LEISTRITZ CORPORATION and the AMERICAN LEISTRITZ EXTRUDER CORPORATION are merged into the LEISTRITZ ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES CORP. with four business units.
  The LEISTRITZ GROUP employs approx. 1.900 employees.
