Lab Extrusion
There is a constant stride to improve current processes, as well as developing new extrusion processes. This is typically accomplished in the laboratory on smaller machines. When a new process is developed, it is then imperative to precisely scale-up that process to manufacturing.
The LEISTRITZ product line of laboratory-scale extruders accomplishes this, as it utilizes the same "building-block/segmented" construction and flexibility as our large scale production machines. The production of small batches and of samples is also an important application field for lab-scale extruders.
